Take a clean 1-quart milk carton and draw the outline of a face from the nose up at the bottom of one corner. Now cut on your outline lines and cut the back of the carton off, up almost to the opposite end. Fold the face downward, making a diagonal fold in the bottom of the carton.

Turn the carton around. Put your hand inside and try it out. Paint it with tempera paint mixed with detergent so the paint will stick to the waxy surface. Glue on eyes, a nose, and a tongue that sticks out.
