PIGS-IN-BLANKETS & DOUGHBOYS

PIGS-IN-BLANKETS

Mix 1 cup Bisquick and 1/4 cup water to form a dough. Divide the dough into 6 pieces. Flatten each piece and wrap it around a hotdog. Moisten the edges of the dough and press them together to seal, leaving the hotdog sticking out at each end. To cook, put on a stick and roast carefully over the coals until the dough is cooked. Or, place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 450 degrees.

DOUGHBOYS

Mix 3 cups Bisquick and 1 cup milk to form a dough. Wrap the dough around one end of a stick. Use long thin pieces of dough and wrap them around and around so that the dough won't fall off the stick. Seal the edges of the strip together to form one solid covering. Hold the stick and dough over the coals until the dough is brown, turning slowly from time to time. When done, remove the doughboy from the stick with a potholder. Cool slightly. Fill the hole left by the stick with butter and jelly.
