Birthday Parties For Children

SPECIAL PROJECTS - KITES

Make paper-bag kites at the party. Give each child a small lunch bag to decorate with markers. Fold the open edge of the bag back about 1 1/2 inches. Tape a 5-inch piece of kite string to each corner of the open end.
Join the four strings together and knot them. Add a long piece of string
(about 5 or 6 feet) to the place where you knotted the others. To fly the kite, hold the string and run. The bag should fly in the air.
