Birthday Parties For Children

SPECIAL PROJECTS - NECKLACES
AND JEWELRY

Make real necklaces out of beads, baked clay, or even marbles. To make marble necklaces, bake glass marbles on a cookie sheet in a 500 degree oven for an hour. Put them immediately into a bowl of ice-cold water. They will crack only on the inside to make shimmering jewels. Attach jewelry loops with glue and then string. To make rings, thread pipe cleaners through buttons and then shape the pipe cleaner into a ring shape that fits you. The children can help make jewelry at the party.
