About the Contest:

Contest is open to children grades preschool through 3 who have
permission from their parent or legal guardian.

First Prize: Jean Marzollo will select and publish one illustration from the entries to
illustrate her poem "What is Winter Like?" on her website.

Second Prize: Everyone who enters, following the rules, will receive
by email a Certificate of Creativity from Jean Marzollo.

How to Enter:

Submit an original drawing to accompany this poem.

1. All entries must be received by January 25, 2010.
2. Each entry must include student name, age and grade,.address, and phone number.
3. Submit entries by email to: jeanmarzollo@jeanmarzollo.com.

Official Rules:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, child must draw an original piece of artwork to accompany the poem provided. The child's parent/guardian must submit a digital copy of the artwork, accompanied by: child's name, address, age, grade level, and phone number. Send all entries to: jeanmarzollo@jeanmarzollo.com. All entries must be received by January 25, 2010. Winners will be chosen based on creativity, relevance to the poem, and execution. Winner will be notified by email. All entries, including rights therein of winning entries, become the property of Jean Marzollo and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law. One entry per person. By entering, entrants and their parents/legal guardians agree to abide by these rules, warrant and represent that their entry is original and grant to Sponsor the right to edit, publish, promote, and otherwise use their entries on www.jeanmarzollo.com without further notice or compensation. Sponsor’s decisions concerning all matters relating to this contest shall be final and binding. Each winner grants the Sponsor the right to use his or her name, hometown, biographical information, and entry for purposes of advertising and promotion without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law.

The first place winner's first name and age will be announced in the next edition of the www.jeanmarzollo.com website where the winning artwork will be displayed.
