Here is a teaching idea from Sue

| "After we read Little Bear, You're A Star, the children wrote their own constellation stories. We stapled their final versions to large pieces of black construction paper. Next to their stories they illustrated their constellations with white crayon. The stories were remarkably original and fresh. Here's an example: 'Once upon a time there was a boy named Jack. He didn't like people fighting so he asked the king and queen to make a heart in the sky and now people were not fighting anymore. He got an award, and Jack was happy and lived happily ever after. The end.'" | ||
