HOW TO PLAY

It (the birthday child at first) runs around trying to tag other players. Anyone who is tagged must "freeze" (hold still). However, any other players may "melt" a frozen player by touching him or her. A "melted" player can resume running around again to avoid It. Whoever is tagged ("frozen") three times is the next It.
