DECORATIONS

Use one table for the children and a smaller table or box for the dolls or stuffed animals. Let your child set the small table.

Use two matching sets for tablecloths and napkins.

Use a children's tea set for the big table and a smaller toy set for the dolls or stuffed animals.

The children can also hold their toys on their laps and "share" with them.

2. Make dolls' clothes.

3. Make clothespin dolls.

4. Make play dough food. Mix 2 cups flour, 3/4 cup salt, 1 tablespoon oil, and 1/2 cup water. Knead until pliable. Give everyone a ball of dough and ask each child to make fake food (hot dogs, hamburgers, peas, cake, ice cream cones) for his or her doll or stuffed animal.

2. Doll Contest or Stuffed Animal Contest. Give awards for doll or animal that is prettiest, cutest, smartest-looking, most athletic-looking, best dressed, best coiffed, friendliest, and so on. Make sure everyone gets a prize.
